Abstract:
This research is focused on theoretically demonstrate the importance of the development of phonological awareness for learning of literacy in children 6 to 7 years.
This has a constructivist foundation of Jean Piaget, David Ausubel and Lev Vigotsky, who agree to consider the student as an active learning subject in the connection with their previous knowledge plays a vital role in reaching to build a new knowledge and it is significant for him.
The main objective of this research is to provide the characteristics and the phonological awareness application as a means of the literacy development. Since the metalinguistic ability which involves words that involves understanding are made up of sound and represented by the graphemes, facilitating the development of literacy learning. Also raised some specific strategies for the development of phonological awareness, can work within the classroom to achieve success in literacy. Through the implementation of various activities that will allow students to develop dynamic and attractive also arise at the time to acquire the skills of reading and writing.

El presente trabajo está enfocado a demostrar teóricamente la importancia del desarrollo de la conciencia fonológica para el aprendizaje de la lectoescritura en niños de 6 a 7 años. Esta tiene una fundamentación constructivista de Jean Piaget, David Ausubel y Lev Vigotskyquienes consideran al estudiante como sujeto activo de su aprendizaje, donde la conexión de sus conocimientos previos juega un papel vital al momento de construir un nuevo conocimiento de manera significativa y reflexiva.
El objetivo primordial de esta investigación es dar a conocer las características y la aplicación de la conciencia fonológica como medio para el desarrollo de la lectoescritura, ya que ésta es la habilidad metalingüística que implica comprender que las palabras están formadas por sonido y representados por grafemas, que permitirá el desarrollo del aprendizaje de la lectoescritura. También se plantean algunas actividades y técnicas específicas para el desarrollo de la conciencia fonológica que se pueden trabajar dentro del aula de clases para lograr el éxito en la lectoescritura, siendo esta de forma dinámica y atractiva al momento de adquirir las destrezas de leer y escribir.
