Nowadays English has become more important and may be considered the world language with which everyone is communicating more and more. This is the reason why it is important to improve the methods of teaching this language. Language is the tool people use to communicate ideas, dreams, wishes, and thoughts. Learning a new language must give the students the ability to communicate themselves in the language they are learning. Playful indoor and outdoor activities for teaching English is a research project where we can find different theories, which are the basis for using games in the EFL classroom. It includes three chapters with the theories of individuals who have dedicated their lives to research the reactions of students to different situations, in this case to games and enjoying learning. There was a development in different aspects of the students' lives. There was development in language as the main goal, and in personality and in intellectual areas. Students participated more actively in their learning and the teacher became more of a guide to help out where the students were stuck. The principal actor in the learning process was the student, which gave them the satisfaction of a job well done. There is one chapter where we have included games we used to help us work in this research project. In the last chapter, we may appreciate all the conclusions that we have reached after the analysis made of the results of this research projectes_ES
