Hábito lector en niños de edad escolar de 9 a 10 años

Abstract

This current research is entitle: “Reading habit in students boys and girls between 9 to 10 years of school year”, this investigations was realized in “Education Unit 3 de Noviembre” of city of Cuenca, Ecuador in February the present year 2016, it had a main objective of determine the reading habit that children have, we are talking about children between 9 to 10 years, as well as verifying the associated factors affecting the reading activity. To accomplish this purpose, the realization of this study was framed within quantitative research crosscutting, where it proceeded to work with a sample of 117 boys and girls, whom the survey on reading habits of Yubero and Larrañaga (2010) was applied. The main data obtained in this research showed that most children participating in this work maintain an adequate development of reading habits, respondents also said that the reading activity they liked; the other hand with regard to the factors associated with reading habits, it was to establish the influence of family and school context in promoting reading in the studied population.
