Revalorización de juegos populares infantiles con tradición en el Azuay mediante un mural en cerámica

Abstract

After extensive research, we decided to create a ceramic mural that is related to the traditional games that have been lost in the current era in Azuay due to technological innovation and the ease of access to digital games that children have contemporary. Talking about traditional Azuayos games is to relive the past of games that were transmitted from generation to generation according to the culture and tradition of each town. What this represents is a practical artistic propose of games and proper ideas, working with the development of figures in this murals. It is about the traditions of how the children they should play with elements of our region, advocating again the technological games. For this reason I have decide to capture a ceramic mural with figures in high relief to rescue the traditional children’s games, which are been lost in today society. One more time continuing with this mural process the objective is to raise awareness in society about the easy way to access to these traditional games not making investments because they have a low cost and this will help to rescue and preserve the tradition and culture of our towns.
