| dc.description | La Universidad de Cuenca, consciente de las necesidades actuales de la urbe de disponer de espacios públicos de calidad, emprende la obra de readecuación del Teatro Carlos Cueva Tamariz. Este edificio, símbolo de la institución, en el transcurrir del tiempo había sufrido un proceso de deterioro por lo que resultó indispensable realizar ciertas adecuaciones para dotarlo de un mejor sistema técnico, funcional y estético: conforme a los usos actuales y futuros del edificio. El objetivo fue realizar las obras necesarias para transformar el edificio en un teatro con todos sus servicios; implementar un nuevo sistema acústico, visual-isóptico y espacial con el fin de brindar a sus usuarios un local que cumpla con los estándares más elevados en su tipo, y así incentivar y promover tanto dentro como fuera | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The University of Cuenca, aware of the current needs of the city for quality public spaces, undertakes the work of readjustment of the theatre Carlos Cueva Tamariz. This building, symbol of the institution, in the course of time had undergone a process of deterioration, reason by which it was indispensable to make certain adjustments to provide it with a better technical, functional and aesthetic system: in accordance with the current and future uses of the building. The objective was to carry out the necessary works to transform the building into a theatre with all its services; to implement a new acoustic system, visual-isoptico and spatial in order to provide its users a place that meets the highest standards in its kind, encourage and promote both inside and outside the institution, the realization of artistic and academic activities. | es_ES |
