Abstract
is an artistic
project that has two components: first uses research and analysis of the
landscape and particularly on the landscape of El Barranco in Cuenca;
second involves a venture into this landscape applying the artistic
practice known as leeway. These two elements allowed a reunion with
the Barranco, history, landscape and people, were embodied in the proposed
six paintings that combine images of the past with the present
reality, and by applying some painting techniques intended to immerse
the viewer in a landscape that connects the past with the present, but
keeping the door open for the future.
Resumen
Es un proyecto artistico que tiene dos componentes: primero utiliza la investigación y el análisis del paisaje y particularmente sobre el paisaje del
Barranco cuencano; segundo implica adentrarse en el Barranco y
recorrerlo aplicando la Deriva como práctica artística. Estos dos elementos
permitieron un reencuentro con el Barranco, historia, paisaje y habitantes,
que se concreta en la propuesta de seis obras pictóricas que conjugan
imágenes del pasado con la realidad actual, y mediante la aplicación de
técnicas propias de la pintura pretenden sumergir al espectador en un
paisaje que conecta el pasado con el presente, a su vez dejando abierta
la puerta del futuro.
