Educación sexual en el sistema educativo para niños y niñas de 6 a 12 años

Abstract

The present state of the art is situated in the field of Basic Education, specifically in the area of "sexual education". The topic "Sex education in the educational system for boys and girls from 6 to 12 years old" aims to analyze from the literature, how sexuality, despite being a fundamental topic for education, still contains a number of gaps for the formation of boys and girls. In order to achieve this objective, we proceeded to investigate, analyze and select information, using an analytical methodology that led to a bibliographic review of scientific articles, journals and books on the subject. This review was carried out in order to analyze the development of sexuality education in the educational system, as well as its organization in the curriculum and the difficulties it presents in the process of teaching and learning about sexuality. Similarly, the perspectives of parents and teachers on the subject were analyzed, and finally, some of the contents and strategies to be worked on in the classroom and some of the modalities used to approach the subject were reviewed.
