| dc.description | El presente proyecto de titulación propone el acercamiento hacia la vegetación propia en la urbe de la ciudad de Cuenca, y, en especial, la relación que esta lleva con los seres humanos con los que coexiste. De esta forma, el siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo el desarrollo de un Bestiario, donde se otorgue visibilidad a un número específico de plantas, las cuales comúnmente son tratadas como maleza por los habitantes de la ciudad. La selección de estas seis especies se realizará en base a varios recorridos en lugares de tránsito habitual dentro de la urbe y un registro fotográfico de cada una. Esto, seguido de un proceso de hibridación con otros elementos como fauna, con el fin de crear nuevas formas y atribuirles nuevas cualidades, un tanto fantásticas, que les permitan a los lectores interesarse por la vegetación que está presente en su cotidianidad. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This degree project proposes an approach to the vegetation of the city of Cuenca, and the relationship it has with the human beings with whom it coexists. In this way, the following work aims to develop a Bestiary, where visibility is given to a specific number of plants, which are commonly treated as weeds by the inhabitants of the city. The selection of these six species will be made based on several routes between places of regular transit within the city and a photographic record of each one. This, followed by a process of hybridization with other elements like wildlife, to create new forms and attribute to them new, somewhat fantastic qualities, that allow readers to become interested in the vegetation that is present in their daily lives. | |
