| dc.description | El presente trabajo se ha planteado identificar si existe correlación entre habilidades sociales y rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de la facultad de psicología. La investigación maneja un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental y transaccional; cuyo alcance se ubica en lo correlacional. El estudio se realizó en estudiantes de la facultad de psicología matriculados en el periodo marzo- agosto 2017, con éste propósito, se utilizó como instrumento de recaudación de información la Escala de Habilidades Sociales de Elena Gismero y el promedio general de los estudiantes del primer interciclo, y para el procesamiento de datos se utilizó el programa Statistical Package for the Social Sciences “SPSS” y Microsoft Excel 2010. Los resultados revelan que no existe relación significativa entre las variables estudiadas, sin embargo cuando se consideran otras variables como el sexo o la escuela de psicología, ya sea clínica, educativa o social, se descubrieron resultados interesantes. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The present work has sought to identify if there is a relationship between social skills and academic performance in students of the faculty of psychology. The research handles a quantitative, non-experimental and transactional approach; whose scope is located in the correlational. The study was carried out in students of the faculty of psychology enrolled in the period March-August 2017. For this purpose, the Social Skills Scale of intercycle Elena Gismero and the general average of the students of the first inter- Statistical Package for the Social Sciences "SPSS" and Microsoft Excel 2010. The results reveal that there is no significant relationship between the variables studied, however when considering other variables such as sex or the school of psychology, whether clinical, educational or social, were found interesting results. | es_ES |
