Análisis de la oferta turística existente en la ciudad de Cuenca dirigida al segmento LGTBI

Abstract

The current research will generate information that allows to know the development and growth of the touristic offer for the LGTBI segment in the city of Cuenca. This will be accomplished by identifying the touristic services available for this segment, which will allow to obtain information about the reality of this sector.

In order to complete this, a qualitative and quantitative methodology will be applied; the first one involves interviews, observation, analysis and comparisons with other studies, while the second one relates to a structured survey application. The methodology aims to determine the number of establishments directed toward this market segment and determine if their development contributes to the local economy. Moreover, it will allow us to know about the reaction and openness of Cuenca´s population towards this market segment.
