Abstract
This title work focuses on studying the landscape genre as a tool for contemporary art, due to the changes that this art form goes through, given the massive use of electronic mechanisms that through photography and social networks have modified the conception of landscape as an artistic product. It is for this reason, that the current work aims to account for the decadent relationship of the landscape with art in terms of its conceptualization and its almost industrialized practice that governs the mimetic without communicative intentions; proposing an exploratory outlet through natural elements specific to the environment of the archaeological sites of the Azuay, delving into the material component of the landscapes, its history, its spirit, and essence, contemplating images not mimetized but material forms that lead with them to the place depicted in a plastic work of the expanded landscape.
Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación se enfoca en estudiar al género del paisaje como una herramienta para el arte contemporáneo, debido a los cambios que esta forma artística atraviesa, dado el uso masivo de los mecanismos electrónicos que por medio de la fotografía y las redes sociales han modificado la concepción del paisaje como un producto artístico. Es por esta razón, que el actual trabajo pretende dar cuenta de la relación decadente del paisaje con el arte en cuanto a su conceptualización y su práctica casi industrializada que se rige a lo mimético sin intenciones comunicativas; proponiendo una salida exploratoria por medio de elementos naturales propios al entorno de los yacimientos arqueológicos del Azuay, ahondando en el componente inmaterial de los paisajes, de su historia, su espíritu y esencia, contemplando imágenes no mimetizadas sino formas matéricas que lleven consigo al lugar representado en una obra plástica del paisaje expandido.
