| dc.description | Las actitudes hacia el consumo de cigarrillo se sostienen en creencias a cerca de los beneficios o perjuicios de su consumo, por lo tanto las actitudes son consideradas como el único determinante de la conducta.El presente estudio pretende ofrecer una visión descriptivo-comparativa entre los fumadores y no fumadores sobre las actitudes y creencias frente al consumo de tabaco.Se consideró como fumadores a los estudiantes que consumieron cigarrillos en los últimos 30 días. Para medir la diferencias estadísticas entre fumadores y no fumadores se realizó la prueba chi cuadrado (x2) y U de Mann-Whitney. Se trabajó con los estudiantes de 14 a 18 años del Colegio “Sindicato de Choferes” a quienes se aplicaron un total de 133 encuestas de 34 preguntas y se encontróque los no fumadores se caracterizan por su actitud desfavorable ante el consumo de tabaco. En la susceptibilidad de consumo de tabaco en el futuro, existe mayor predisposición en los fumadores. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The attitudes about smoking are determined by the beliefs of its benefits and prejudices. Consequently, the attitudes are decisive for the behavior. This study offers a descriptive and comparative view between smokers and non-smokers. Also, students’ different perspectives and beliefs about smoking. For this study, the students who smoked in the last 30 days were regarded as smokers. Moreover, the Chi Square test and Mann-Whitney U test were implemented to measure the statistical difference between smokers and non-smokers. The students who participated in this study were among 14 and 18 years old, and they studied at Sindicato de Choferes High school. To collect data, 133 surveys, which consisted of 34 questions, were applied. The results demonstrated that the non-smokers are characterized by the negative attitude toward smoking. In conclusion, there is more disposition to smoke by cigarette consumers. | es_ES |
