Propuesta de agroturismo para la Hacienda El Descanso del cantón Sigsig, provincia del Azuay

Abstract

The present intervention work is focused on developing a proposal for the implementation of agrotourism in the Hacienda El Descanso that is located in the Jima Paish of the Sigsig canton, because the hacienda for a few years ago has been receiving tourists sporadically, this has been the reason why agrotourism activity has been seen as a great opportunity for economic, social and environmental development of the place since additionally the Hacienda has the infrastructure and the indispensable resources for this activity. Currently, the Hacienda is dedicated one hundred percent to agriculture and livestock so it is expected that the project will benefit and serve in the long term as an additional income to their daily work. For the proposal, three main objectives have been proposed to be carried out: first, to generate a baseline with tourist vision of everything related to agrotourism, the parish of Jima and Hacienda El Descanso in order to know the environment where the project will be carried out; second, to design a management model, the agrotourism product and the financial plan that allows to know the feasibility in general terms of the proposal; and as a third objective, to carry out a demand analysis and a marketing plan that hep to promote and strengthen the agrotourism proposal once its implementation is carried out.
