Abstract
The tourist vocation is a concept that is frequently used to refer to
places with potential to attract tourists. Thus, to determine if a place
has a vocation to carry out activities related to tourism, it requires
an analysis that goes beyond determining the presence of tourist attractions. East
turns out to be one of the problems in the San Bartolomé parish, since, although
has attractions, the analysis of other characteristics is required to define its level
tourist vocation. To achieve this objective, the López methodology was used.
