Abstract
The purpose of this research is to reconstruct the musical activity that the First Baptist Church of Cuenca has developed since 1972 to 2017. The First Baptist Church in Cuenca with 45 years of existence is one of the first Baptist congregations in Cuenca and also Ecuador. As the main points shown in this research, the foundation and history, music teachers, choirs, cataloged musical data plus two musical arrangements presented by the young music students of the church.
Resumen
La presente investigación tiene como propósito reconstruir la actividad musical que ha desarrollado la Primera Iglesia Bautista de Cuenca desde su creación en 1972 hasta 2017. La congregación, con 45 años de existencia, es una de las más antiguas en la ciudad de Cuenca y el Ecuador. Como sujeto principal de esta investigación, se presenta su fundación e historia, sus maestros de música, coros, la catalogación de sus archivos musicales y dos adaptaciones musicales para niños estudiantes de música de la congregación.
