El juego en el proceso de aprendizaje en educación inicial

Abstract

The importance of play in the development of the child is recognized by all, but the knowledge that the teachers have of this resource and its correct application as a pedagogical strategy within the educational centers of initial education has been a theme that has generated different Types of comments. In response to this background, it is proposed to carry out this work entitled: "The game in the process of learning in initial education" in the city of Cuenca-Ecuador, its main objective being to know the level of motivation and management which the teachers of the game do as a means to promote learning in their students. The study responds to a quantitative approach of descriptive character and the instrument used was Muñoz & Valenzuela's (2014), Game Motivation Scale (EMJ), which was applied to 100 teachers of the level. The results determined that most teachers recognize the importance of the game and feel motivated to use it, but they present difficulties for correct application.
