Creación de material didáctico acerca de la pintora ecuatoriana Araceli Gilbert adaptado para niños de cinco años de edad en adelante

Abstract

The main objective of this final dissertation is to create an educational proposal based on the work of the Ecuadorian artist Araceli Gilbert. Varied criteria regarding education, both at national and international levels, as well as the curricular contents, along with the necessary guidelines for the creation of didactic material, have been taken into account for this purpose. The project aims at creating a link between education and play throughout the design of didactic tools which might prove valuable for varied learning processes beginning at early stages. These materials are specifically aimed at children age 5 and older, and are based upon pedagogical criteria which take into account both, cognitive and psychomotor skills, as well as the performance standards regulated by the National Education curriculum. By means of this proposal we seek to acknowledge the work of Ecuadorian artists as a pivotal contribution for the development of our culture
