Autoconcepto en estudiantes de entre octavo año de educación general básica a tercer año de bachillerato

Abstract

This work had as main objective to meet the level of self-concept that students have, between Eighth year of Basic General Education to Third year Baccalaureate of Educational Unit Dolores J. Torres. To achieve this purpose, it was performed a quantitative approach research with descriptive scope, which worked with the population. It applied a Questionnaire of Self-concept Form 5 by Garcia and Musitu (AF5), through which it was evaluated five dimensions of self-concept, academic, social, emotional, family and physical, and through them it also obtained an overview of the self-concept of students. For processing and analysis of data it was used Microsoft Excel 2010 software. The results obtained indicate that students of the institution have a positive self-concept, in an overview, and in four of its five dimensions, except for the social dimension, in which the level of negative self-concept was obtained.
