Análisis de la determinación de los costos operativos del servicio de transporte de taxis del cantón Cuenca

Abstract

This work presents the calculation of the operating costs of the cab transportation service in the canton of Cuenca, applying the methodology established by the National Transit Agency. Field research is carried out, that is, in direct contact with those involved in the integrating project. A mixed approach is used, qualitative by obtaining information from the description of this sector, the theoretical foundation; and quantitative the calculation of operational costs. In addition, the real cost and the standard cost are applied, the first through surveys and the second by applying the established methodology. From the last study conducted in 2014 to the present, it has been realized that operational costs have increased due to price inflation and the appearance of new items. The real cost of the service of a cab unit per month is $2,282.74 and the standard is $3,435.17.
