Abstract
The following article expresses the theoretical reflection on the production of a pictorial work
in which are represented, through the study and analysis of symbolic elements, some
characteristic features of what is considered as modern slavery of the human being before
technological devices, which they become a means of manipulation and control for
humanity. The work suggests to the viewer to question how the different forms of control
greatly affect the behaviors and decisions of individuals. We get used to the devices
according to their statutes constituted from a factory, becoming addicted to them, with no
place for sustained and critical reflections on their interference in daily life. There are latent
risks.
Resumen
En el siguiente artículo se expresa la reflexión teórica sobre la producción de una obra
pictórica en la cual se representan, mediante el estudio y análisis de elementos simbólicos,
algunos rasgos característicos de lo que se considera como esclavitud moderna del ser
humano ante dispositivos tecnológicos, que llegan a ser un medio de manipulación y control
para la humanidad. La obra sugiere al espectador cuestionarse sobre cómo las distintas
formas de control afectan enormemente las conductas y decisiones de los individuos. Nos
habituamos a los dispositivos según sus estatutos constituidos desde una fábrica,
convirtiéndonos en adictos de los mismos, sin lugar a reflexiones sostenidas y críticas sobre
su injerencia en la vida cotidiana. Hay riesgos latentes.
