Abstract

In today’s world, environmental auditing has become a fundamental tool that companies use to manage processes efficiently, based on the environmental policies established, so that they can remain competitive in the market in which they operate. The following Integrative Project "Environmental Audit to the processes of collection, street cleaning, and composting, carried out by Empresa Municipal de Aseo (EMAC- EP). Period 2017 " has been presented with the purpose of verifying the fulfillment of the national regulations by EMAC EP in the aforementioned processes, with the objective of determining through an environmental compliance audit, which will use a systematic and objective process of inspection and verification in the entity. For the development of this project, the methodology that will be applied was established in the Environmental Audit Guide issued by the Comptroller General of the State. The results obtained from this project will be issued through a final report with the appropriate recommendations so that the entity can make the necessary adjustments or changes to subsequently obtain an ISO 14001-2015 certification
