La narrativa gráfica aplicada a una crítica sobre el control excesivo en una sociedad distópica, en la que el socialismo extremo prevalece

Abstract

It´s imperative to find a communication mechanism that attracts people, especially the youngest generation, in which, art and communication themselves are linked. Having considered these characteristics, it´s essential to think about a graphic narrative as a tool for communication and entertainment, applied in different kinds of social environments. This, with the aim of transcend around social, artistic and communicative means, using satire, comedy and drama as well as the creation of spaces and characters which, starting from fiction are driving towards a critic and a realistic environment. Therefore, the following project has the purpose to implement and broaden the creation of graphic tools as: comic books, graphic novels or cartoons with the objective of communicate important topics and about social criticism in a different and interesting way. The topic investigates the social control, based on classical authors such as: George Orwell, Aldous Huxley and Michael Foucault, whose work have contributed to the planning and execution of a graphic narrative product, which includes the creation and development of a fictitious surrounding, managed by socially extreme politics. Inside this work, elements and characters illustratively inspired in big-comic-book iconic-authors are included.
