Evaluación de la adaptación y rendimiento de 7 variedades mejoradas y 3 variedades nativas de fréjol arbustivo (Phaseolus vulgaris L) en el valle de Yunguilla

Abstract

In this investigation, the adaptation and yield of 7 improved and 3 native varieties of bush beans in the Yunguilla Valley, province of Azuay, were evaluated and a methodological proposal for the evaluation of the variable oxidation in green pod and tender grain was formulated. The trial was completed in randomized complete blocks (DBCA) with three repetitions. Variance analysis (ADEVA) was performed with bifactorial and three-factorial arrangements. The data analysis during the growth stage (V0-R9) generated results that had to do with INIAP Rocha had the highest viability percentage. In emergency, vegetative adaptation and days to flowering, INIAP Blanco Fanesquero obtained higher records (96% emergency, excellent adaptation and with 35 days, was the earliest). The INIAP Rocha variety had maximum records in the incidence of common bacteriosis, the Rayado variety had a higher plant height (117.1 cm). In the pod / plant variable, INIAP Portilla registered 17 pods; while in grains / pod, 80% of the specific varieties 5 grains / pod. INIAP Centenario presented the largest length of sheath (16 cm). The INIAP Blanco Belén variety was the earliest with 74 days to harvest in green. The reproductive adaptation of INIAP Concepción and Butter Guide was the best. The weight of 100 grains in green of INIAP Blanco Fanesquero was 128.4 grams. The best yield in green pod was of the INIAP Portilla variety (15936.98 kg / ha). INIAP Blanco Fanesquero was the variety with the highest resistance to oxidation of pods and young grains (135.43 and 131.7 hours, respectively).
