Abstract
In recent years the country has faced different social, economic and environmental challenges that are very complex, for which it is necessary to take some actions. For this, different initiatives have been created that seek to benefit the less favored groups. These initiatives include the determined inclusive businesses (IB) and the Popular and Solidarity Economy (PSE), which has taken hold in Ecuador and the rest of the world in recent years. The purpose of this academic article is to determine the relationship between the IB and the Financial Sector of the Ecuadorian Popular and Solidarity Economy (FSEPSE), through the comparison of its most relevant characteristics, with the purpose that the NI are considered as a tool within the FSEPSE for the benefit of the vulnerable sector of Ecuador.
Resumen
En los últimos años el país ha enfrentado diferentes desafíos sociales, económicos y ambientales que son muy complejos; para los cuales se necesita tomar acciones. Para esto se ha creado diferentes iniciativas que buscan beneficiar a los grupos menos favorecidos. Entre estas iniciativas se tiene a los denominados negocios inclusivos (NI) y a la Economía Popular y Solidaria (EPS), la misma que ha tomado fuerza en el Ecuador y en el resto del mundo en los últimos años. El presente artículo académico tiene como propósito determinar la relación existente entre los NI y el Sector Financiero de Economía Popular y Solidario Ecuatoriano (SFEPS), a través de la comparación de sus características más relevantes, con la finalidad de que los NI sean considerados como una herramienta dentro del SFEPS en beneficio del sector vulnerable del Ecuador.
