Propuesta de creación de un campamento turístico en el sector de San Martín, parroquia de San Gerardo, cantón Girón, provincia del Azuay, Ecuador

Abstract

The objective of this present Project is to propose the creation of a touristic camping in San Martin sector in the parish of San Gerardo, canton Girón, Azuay province, Ecuador with the support of the San Gerardo Parish Council. With the purpose of taking advantage of the potential natural and cultural touristic attractions like the Tutelary Hill Fasaná, which has Cañaris background, and the lake San Martín; and to boost the diversification of economic dynamic of the population through the tourism. Within the proposal will be developed the situational analysis of the sector, the historic background and the characteristics of the place, the touristic camping conception, the legal framework, the project engineering that includes the its description, the services design, the sustainable management, the load capacity for the camping, the strategic plan for market segmentation and marketing, the branding, and the financial structure of the project. It is important to highlight that the purpose tries to reassess the common patterns of the touristic camping through the employment of novel camping materials, the Tentsile tents or hanging tents, the comfort and the quality in the service, the sustainable touristic management and the community integration in the project.
