| dc.description | El electroencefalograma es una herramienta diagnóstica que recoge y evalúa la actividad eléctrica cerebral a través de electrodos; su aplicación clínica por lo general está dirigida al campo de la medicina, pero en odontológica permite evaluar patologías asociadas a hábitos parafuncionales como el bruxismo, trastornos del sueño y permite asociar las funciones masticatorias con ciertas funciones cerebrales. El presente artículo realiza una búsqueda de la literatura con el fin de determinar el uso actual de este sistema diagnóstico en odontología y sus perspectivas futuras. | en_US |
