| dc.description | El blanqueamiento dental vital combinado consiste en realizar una primera fase en la clínica con agentes blanqueadores de alta concentración, seguido de una fase domiciliaria con agentes blanqueadores de baja concentración. En este trabajo se presenta un caso tratado con esta modalidad blanqueadora al que se le efectuó una sesión en la consulta de dos aplicaciones con un producto quimioactivable compuesto por peróxido de hidrógeno al 40%, seguida de 3 semanas de tratamiento domiciliario con férulas individualizadas y un gel de peróxido de carbamida al 16%. Los resultados logrados evidenciaron una importante y perceptible modificación del color de los dientes tratados. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Combined vital tooth whitening consists of a first phase in the clinic with high con- centration whitening agents, followed by a home phase with low concentration whitening agents. In this work we present a case treated with this whitening modality that underwent an in-office session of two applications with a chemoactivatable product composed of 40% hydrogen peroxide, followed by 3 weeks of home treatment with individualizad splints and a 16% carbamide peroxide gel.
