    Currently,the Ecuadorianlegislation onoccupational health and safetyestablishedmandatoryguidelines regardingworker protectionby implementingrisk preventionsystemsof work according tothe production activityand the levelof risk for eachcompany. In summarythis studyseeks to establishimprovement proposalfor theStorage Centeron industrialsafety througha detailed analysis ofthe risk factorsto whichworkersare exposed that is detailedasfollows. In chapter one, a brief historyof the emergence ofthe saving and loan Cooperative COOPERA and thesubsequent creation of the Major Storage CenterSanJoaquinis wherethe studyof this thesiswas applied.Conditionsoforganizational structure, mission, vision, tools and machinery, as well as each of theactivities carried outineach section. In chapter two, the theoretical framework of qualitative and quantitative methods of occupational risk factors studied in this thesis is developed. Quantitative methods applied to factors of mechanical, physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial risk include the identification, measurement and assessment of risk factors. The third chapter provides the identification, measurement and assessment of risk factors. Quantitative methods required field observations for complete work cycles, elaboration of workflow diagrams, photo shoots for further study, lifting plant Layout, interviews with all staff involved, conducting surveys, among others.
