The work of health personnel is not excluded from this risk, due to routine, exhausting work with predisposition for the development of multiple risks such as ergonomic, injuries with short stabbing material among others. Objective: determine the frequency of work accidents caused by: short stabbing material, body fluids and body mechanics in the health personnel of Monte Sinaí Cuenca Hospital 2016. Methodology: we used a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional cohort study, with a finite universe of 88 people. For the investigation a survey of Tayupanta Soledad and Ulco Carmen was applied. The information was processed in the SPSS version 22 program. The results are presented in tables of frequencies and percentages. Results: the most affected people are female nursing staff with 75%, with ages ranging from 20 to 30 years. Likewise, the work experience is from 1 to 5 years. On the other hand, the frequency of occupational accidents was mostly by short stabbing material with 31.8% as mentioned above and was caused by work overload with 11.4%. Conclusions: the present investigation concludes that the main frequency of occupational accidents was by short stabbing material with 31.8%, with a significant value of chi2 equivalent to 0.004, which gives a significance value. Accidents by body mechanics are with 4.5%, followed by accidents with body fluids with 2.3%Item Influencia del proceso de trabajo sobre el perfil de salud-enfermedad del personal de enfermería en el área de cirugía del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso. Methods: This is a descriptive study that will cut determine the influence of work on the health profile of nursing disease in the area of surgery The universe is composed of 22 area workers surgery. Techniques and tools: The instruments used are: • Survey form • Observation Guide RESULTS: The nursing work process is characterized as routine , exhausting , deterior ante by the monotonous rhythms by personnel , a work environment with the presence of hazardous processes associated with handling body fluids , chemicals, exposure to accidents for flats slippery and health profile disease characterized by circulatory problems such as edema, back pain, gastritis, pneumonia. CONCLUSIONS: The research shows the correlation between the labor process and the process of health - Staff Health Nursing Surgery area.
