    Educación integral de la sexualidad a niños(as) y adolescentes en el Ecuador

    Comprehensive Sexuality Education for children (as) and adolescents in Ecuador" is a work of compilation and analysis of bibliographic information sources to generate a reference document about what constitutes Comprehensive Sexuality Education in our context. Based on the literature review, it is described the comprehensive model that promotes the teaching of sex education that fosters addressing all areas that constitute human sexuality instead its restriction to biological or reproductive aspects only. Furthermore, it is emphasized that this model involves a systematic and on going process looking to develop skills, abilities and attitudes to promote freely and responsibly encounters in the field of sexuality. All these aspects will contribute to the integral development of the human being. Additionally the legal framework of Comprehensive Sexuality Education is described. It provides guidelines to be worked within educational institutions. With these aspects, some inputs will be provided to facilitate a sexuality education that covers the dimensions and functions of sexuality, the components of the Comprehensive Sex Education, Sexual and Reproductive Rights, among others. Finally it is consideredthat all aspects of the Comprehensive Sexuality Education should be handled both in education and in family context, scenarios in which the individual develops.
