Item Desarrollo del número y la aritmética en niños de tres a ocho años de edad(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-11-08) Cordero Tamayo, María Belén; Bojorque Iñegues, Gina CatalinaThis monographic work is situated in the field of Basic Education, specifically in the area of Mathematics. The development of number and arithmetic (addition and subtraction) is an important issue in the educational field because these competencies predict children’s performance and future mathematical development, therefore, the aim of this study was to know the developmental process of number and arithmetic in children from three to eight years old and investigate how to stimulate this development according to the literature. This monograph is divided into three fundamental chapters in which the development of number and arithmetic (addition and subtraction) are theoretically studied, as well as playful activities that allow such development. For this, a documentary-descriptive research was carried out, which consisted of reviewing pertinent bibliographic material about the study variables, and systematically analyzing and synthesizing the most outstanding information collected. It was evidenced that the development of number and arithmetic (addition and subtraction) are closely related to each other. It is necessary that this development follows an appropriate learning trajectory, which allows strengthening and internalizing these skills progressively, which will serve as the basis for the construction of more advanced formal mathematical competencies. For this reason, it is necessary to provide children with a playful and experiential teaching, which makes use of concrete material and is oriented to properly promote the development of number and arithmeticItem La actividad lúdica como estrategia didáctica para reforzar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes de básica elemental con dificultades en la lecto-escritura(2022-09-12) López Cajamarca, Johanna Alejandra; Vásquez Calderón, Sthefany Graciela; Mora Abril, Nancy BeatrizLudic activity is a widely spread topic, but poorly understood and applied by teachers in their teaching practices. This monograph is part of the field of humanities, specifically, the educational and social fields. It is intended to establish the contribution of playful activity as a didactic strategy to reinforce the learning of elementary school students with difficulties in the reading and writing process. To achieve this objective, various documents, books, scientific articles, and transcribed conferences, were collected and consulted which deepened the subject under study. Based on the bibliographic review, it is determined that learning to read and write is one of the most important and complex knowledge to be developed in students during the initial periods of instruction, for this reason, demands from the student a series of skills and abilities to successfully stand up to with such learning. Nevertheless, not all students have them and they are not prepared to learn to read and write in the best way, it is evident that there are students who have difficulties in consolidating these macro-skills. It can be verified that ludic activities are one of the best didactic strategiesthat educators have for teaching and that it allows improving the learning of students with reading writing difficulties because they motivate learning, reinforce the comprehension of texts, acquire reading speed, and strengthen the communication skills necessary for their daily lives.Item La actividad lúdica para la enseñanza de la expresión oral en la educación básica elemental(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-10-11) Chicaiza Criollo, Maribel Alexandra; Guanoquiza Suárez, Doménica Gabriela; Mora Abril, Nancy BeatrizIn the present work, an investigation was conducted on playful activities for teaching oral expression in elementary basic education. The objective was to analyze the importance and use of playful activities for teaching oral expression in the classroom, based on a qualitative methodology that included a documented bibliographic review of the literature on playful activities that favor the teaching of oral expression in children. It was concluded that play activities are useful to work on this macro skill in all the years that make up the Elementary Basic Education level. In addition, the importance of implementing playful activities that stimulate the development of this learning process in children became evident.
