This research work has been commissioned to determine local development factors resulting from consolidation of alternative rural economic initiatives, created by the management of tourism developed in a rural area of Azuay Province, specifically in the Nabon canton
The purpose of this paper is to know the experience of international cooperation executed in the territory Nabonense , performing a situational analysis of community tourism experience called " El Colibrí de Nabón " mentioned fruit setting process and its impact achieved within the local tourism market , their strengths but also considering their needs , and on the other hand know the contribution to the local population generated from a new platform of economic organization that works on a model of responsible and sustainable tourism based on SumakKawsay goals.
The study also involves the analysis of both the experience and made the approach to achieve the various actors, based on theoretical guidelines and research tools to determine criteria, lines of action and ultimately to build a proposal to strengthen that promotes the revitalization of their tourism offer based on innovative tools and techniques generated by territory.
