Item Análisis filosófico de la teología de la liberación(2013) Barrera Medina, Rubén Paúl; Benalcázar Reino, Pablo Fernando; Cárdenas Espinoza, Cristóbal EdmundoThis investigation denominated as a “Philosophic analysis of the Liberation Theology” elaborates on the begin and configuration of the Catholic church in Latin America, since it’s arrival to our continent with the Spanish conquest, through its development over time; by analyzing its historic content starting from Fray Bartolomé de las Casas, a strong and fierce Native-Indian Rights’ advocate against the conservative system and predominant exploitation of the colonized population, we will reflect upon the structure itself and the new theology proposed for our Latin American Continent. From within the beginnings of the Liberation Theology, we will step back to the analysis of the Concilio Vaticano II and the general conferences of the Latin American Episcopate of Medellín (1968) and Puebla (1979), as cross-cutting axis in the intent of structuring a critique, to the most conservative and traditional alignments of the Catholic Church, to its resulting effect of the birth of a new Latin American Theology. Concept linked to other sciences and philosophical systems such as Marxism, Pedagogy, and Philosophy itself; all of which have the oppressed as the object of liberation and Latin America as the scene of action.
