Item Dinámica familiar y su influencia en el bajo rendimiento académico de los y las adolescentes de educación básica superior de la escuela Manuela Cañizares. Cuenca 2014-2015(2016) Vazquez Aguirre, Maritza Alexandra; León Márquez, Washington EvelioThis research is an institutional need and aims to analyze the family dynamic that adolescents have higher basic education "Manuela Cañizares" School to assess its influence on the underachievement of them. It was a descriptive cross-sectional research; he had a mixed design which is used in combination qualitative and quantitative research methods to achieve the objectives. Using a non-probability sampling was selected from that universe, a sample of 23 students with poor academic performance and their families, to which he applied the techniques and instruments selected evaluation. The main results highlighted the most influential factors in the poor performance of adolescents are the type and characteristics of the family, conflicting family relationships, difficulties in how to deal with problems, poor family communication and limited family resources to address problematic situations. It is considered that the problems in family dynamics influence the academic performance of these students, especially those with a "not approved" during the school year. The study ended with a proposal for family intervention actions that aim to influence the improvement of the academic performance of adolescents from a family systems perspective.Item Efectos del divorcio de los padres en las/los adolescentes de la Unidad educativa Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Colegio San Luis Beltrán de la ciudad de Cuenca, período 2011-2012(2013) Campoverde Hurtado, Maritza Esthela; Calle Galán, Hugo MarceloThe main objective of this research is to know the effects of the divorce of the parents of adolescents at Santo Domingo de Guzman - San Luis Beltran high school in the city of Cuenca, in the academic year 2011-2012. We interviewed 13 families, of whom 6 adolescents are from divorced parents and seven ones whom parents are not divorced. We conducted a descriptive study bimodal. In the qualitative phase categorize the sentences said by them using three indicators: maltreatment, depression and attempts suicide. In the quantitative phase we obtained data about family structure, and the frequency of suicide attempts. The opinions expressed by them the teenage participants in the study deducted that the environment of heartbreak and conflict in which live their parents who are not necessarily divorced legally, incorrect assignment ofrolesandvoluntary or involuntaryabsenceof oneor both parentsleadsto isolation,sadness,maladjustment, depression and evensuicide attempts intheteenager.Item La estructura familiar y su influencia en la autoestima de los y las adolescentes de octavo de básica de la escuela Manuela Cañizares. TheCoppersmithself-esteeminventory test wasusedtoestablishlevels of self-esteem in kids in areassuch as home, school, and social environment. Thedirectedstructuredsurvey of 61 participantsallowedto show howself-esteemdevelops. 61 participantstookhowismyfamilyquestionnaire, 57 participantstookhowisourfamilyquestionnaire, whichallowedtoevaluateinteractionswithinthefamily. Theabovementionedresearchallowedtocollectfollowing data: 28% of theparticipantshadlowself- esteem in thearea of familythatwascausedbyparents’ actions (closenesswithinfamily, strictlimits, hierarchybetweenparents, unstablefamilycohesion and difficulty in communicating).Item Factores de riesgo en los niños, niñas y adolescentes hijos de sus madres privadas de la libertad(2017) Huiracocha Panamá, Karina del Pilar; Auquilla Pacurucu, Fanny del PilarThe purpose of this research is to know the Risk Factors in Children and Adolescents, Children of the Private Mothers of Freedom in the Center for Social Rehabilitation of the City of Cuenca, and propose intervention measures to reduce the impact of the absence of the mother in her children. It is a research of a descriptive type, qualitative nature that through the techniques of interview and the application of the questionnaire "What is your family like" for parents and "What is your family like" for children and adolescents, aims to know the internal characteristics that families present and the level of dysfunctionality, how it is in the labor market and academic development. Moreover, it is intended to know the current situations of children and adolescents (C&A) in the personal, family and social spheres and to characterize families in the following areas: structure, functionality, parents and children relationships, emotional level, family activities and satisfaction with aspects of life. The participants are 10 convicted mothers, who are admitted to the Cuenca Women's Rehabilitation Center, who have children who live with one of the parents or relatives who are free, or who exercises parental authority. The population of minors is made up of 10 C&A children of mothers deprived of their liberty.
