Item Desarrollo de un sistema IoT para la adquisición de datos biomecánicos de un patinador de velocidad, utilizando dispositivos ESP32(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-05-24) Beltrán Saavedra, Miguel Alejandro; Tacuri Merchán, Freddy Medardo; Astudillo Salinas, Darwin FabiánIn sports of competition, considering small details in technique can mean better results. Cu- rrently, studies that relate speed skating with IoT and wearable devices are limited, being the experience of elite athletes or coaches the main reference for skaters when improving their techniques. Therefore, the incorporation of measurement systems with inertial sensors that describe the athlete’s movements in a quantitative way would lead to more controlled and ef- ficient training. In this project an IoT Wireless system is developed that incorporates ESP32 modules and inertial sensors for the acquisition of acceleration data from the four extremities of a speed skater; these data are stored in the Thingsboard Cloud Web server, using the MQTT protocol. The measurement system has a star-like architecture consisting of a central node and four sensor nodes, which communicate using the ESP-NOW protocol. To command the data capture at the sensor nodes and visualize the inertial data, a mobile application for An- droid is developed. To verify the operation of the acquisition system, tests were performed on three skaters with different levels of experience and under the same conditions, being able to characterize the acceleration data of the four extremities in the three cartesian axes, both for a straight and curved section of the track.Item Diseño e implementación de un sistema prototipo de gestión de acceso a las aulas de la facultad de ingeniería mediante llaves electrónicas(2015) Arias Ordóñez, Christian Xavier; Guevara Baculima, Remigio ClementeThe main objective of this thesis is to design an electronic prototype with wireless Internet access, allowing automatically manage access to classrooms and laboratories of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Cuenca. To achieve this, a device was designed so that together with an RFID reader, magnetic cards can be used like electronic keys. On the other hand an application designed for smartphones with Android operating system, will also function as electronic key, allowing the user to choose the option that prefers to use in case that in the future the prototype is implemented in the faculty. The device management as well as the database of professors, can be managed through a web application designed specifically for this thesis and that resides on a HTTP server. Finally communication between the server and the electronic prototype is possible through a set of functions or API developed in PHP.Item Estudio sobre la banca móvil a nivel mundial y modelo aplicable para la implementación y desarrollo en el Ecuador(2014) Avendaño Castro, Geovanny Marcelo; Cárdenas Neira, César Andrés; Merchán Manzano, Hernando EfraínMobile banking has achieved great importance worldwide due to the facilities provided by the user when managing their money in an electronic way, through the use of mobile devices. The acceptance of this new system has varied from country to country due to different fields and various forms of implementation of the final objective function proposed by each model. Although Ecuador is already implementing mobile payments by the Central Bank, there is mistrust from the user to adopt these systems, adding the fact of ignorance of the subject due to lack of information released so far. In this thesis work needed to be taken into account to achieve an adequate level of knowledge on the subject, bringing concepts and experiences from other countries, in order to meet the main goal which is to propose a model for the applicable parameters arises implementing a mobile banking system in Ecuador. Submitting the necessary variables for successful implementation and then analyzing them to reach optimal modeling of the proposed proposal was made. Finally, detailed the necessary components to implement mobile banking in relation to the proposed both for the service, like the way this user will be used model. In future work the information and analyzes presented in this paper will serve to encourage curiosity in both teachers and students towards the development of new functionalities, due to the rapid advance of technology in this field.
