Item Autoconstrucción de acabados en la vivienda(1986) Carrión M., Patricio; Enderica A., Hernán; Vicuña P., Pablo; Contreras Arias, ManuelItem Estudio del hormigón pulido y el microcemento y su aplicación en acabados arquitectónicos(2015) Cordero Gárate, María José; Reyes Cordero, María de la Paz; Ramos Monori, Jeimis LeonardoCurrently, the innovative materials in terms of time saving work, versatility, flexibility, reduced scrap, environmentally favorable, are those that have gained acceptance in the building industry, such as concrete polishing and Microconcrete. However, as like many other materials and construction techniques, limited research on its proper application and use, which have generated very generally mention some important technological, causing common problems in the architectural elements made of these technique, such as cracks, peeling, spots and material degradation. The results of our research intend to correct this lack of knowledge about these issues, to know the best ways to apply the technique, both constructive and aesthetic. It develops in 4 stages, in the first one a study of the general knowledge of the concrete, and a compilation of information on the polished concrete and microcroncrete. In the second stage, an analysis of the use and application of both polished concrete as microconcrete will be performed. In the third stage, a theoretical and practical analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of polished concrete and microconcrete compared to other materials used in architectural finishes in our environment and in the final stage will take a “Guide to Practical Application Theory” was developed through a series of plates showing the different possibilities for the realization of concrete polishing techniques and microconcrete that contributes as academic materials for teachers, students, professionals and companies interested in learning the proper technique for implementing these.
