Item Conocimientos, actitudes y prácticas de Educación Sexual en los docentes de Educación Inicial. Zona 6 Educación Cuenca 2018(2019-03-12) Durazno Ortiz, Andrea Gabriela; Manzano Pauta, Diana ElisabethDespite advances on sexual education in early childhood; understanding the teaching role is relevant, since it contributes to the integral formation of children, benefiting their physical and emotional future. In this school stage, we will determine knowledge, attitudes and teaching practices about sex education. The "National Survey on sex education" by the Ministry of Education of Uruguay was applied to teachers in the canton of Cuenca, District 01D01 Circuit 08-09-10, as they face in their work realities of migration, reconstituted families, among others. With the results obtained in the precaps, a manual of pedagogical strategies is proposed and finally a postcaps to evaluate the results. In the knowledge items, 60.6% of teachers said they received undergraduate sex education; moreover, the postcaps projected 18.2%, increasing the workshop item, from 36.4% to 66.7%; as well as the content of sex education from 1.26 to 1.98. In the area of attitudes, only two items decreased their frequency: child sex games as an expected behavior in this stage from 1.76 to 1.05 and regarding the legal framework on sex education that decreased from 1.00 to 0.47; demonstrating that when dealing with emotions, feelings and value systems, other strategies are necessary. In the area of practice, the number of teachers who taught sex education daily increased from 39.4% to 63.6%; those who said they did so once a year decreased from 18.2% to 3%. According to these results, it is important to provide training processes for teachers, for an integral development of the child.
