This research aims to increase the level of spatial intelligence for the transition from two-dimensional to three-dimensional view of geometric elements in mathematical problems in students taking linear algebra, by implementing an experimental laboratory with augmented reality technology. The results are favorable because the level of skills that are involved in spatial intelligence of students undergoing increases. A process that consists of five steps is executed: a methodological analysis of Linear Algebra in the real three-dimensional space is developed. A Teaching Guide for use by students as a tool to interact with the augmented reality system is structured. The third stage consists of the development of technological environment interaction between the guides and the Augmented Reality software for the transition from traditional two-dimensional to three-dimensional abstraction. The fourth stage executes the process of intervention with students taking the subject using the lab sessions. Finally, a comparative diagnostic process on spatial intelligence skills is performed.
