    Evaluación y diseño a nivel de prefactibilidad de la intersección: Carretera panamericana y vía rápida Cuenca-Azogues-Biblián

    Ecuador in recent years has had an important advance in the construction and improvement of communication routes, meaning economic and social progress, however, one of the main disadvantages of the main roads of Austro and Cañar is the number of intersections on freeways and express roads, being these where the highest number of road accidents occur. The present work studies the intersection located on the Rapid Route Cuenca-Azogues-Biblián and Panamericana Biblián of Cantón Biblián in which converge several problems of strategy of traffic management, urban and transport planning, geometric design and lack of signaling. This project contemplates a development of different stages: vehicular capacity, topographic survey, elaboration of two solution proposals and analysis of the results that allow to reduce the accidentability according to the characteristics of the project and to the points of conflicts generated. The simulation of the transit of the proposed alternatives and of the current situation in the TRITONE software was carried out, for the evaluation of service levels. In turn it was done the construction of an overpass, and a design at a level considering economic, traffic and environmental aspects were analyzed. according to the NEVI-12 regulation.
