Item Solución geológica, geotécnica, hidrológica, hidraúlica y estructural de la alcantarilla que sirve a la autopista Cuenca- Azoagues, ABSCISA km. 4+667(2015) Veintimilla González, Liliana Alexandra; Cisneros Espinoza, Felipe EduardoThe main problems affecting the Cuenca-Azogues highway in Ecuador are landslides and soil collapse due to the material type in the area. This thesis aims to analyze the location area and provide a geological, geotechnical, hydrological, hydraulic and structural solution for the construction of a sewer in theabscise km 4+667.The study considers the best cost-benefit relationshipfor users, interms of both construction and maintenance criteria. Percussion drilling, SPT testing and seismic refraction are performed to determine the soil characteristics in situ. The solution considers the reconstruction of the creek taneg at the sewer entrance level. The generated flow is then conducted by an approach channel to the sewer and discharged to its natural channel through an energy sink. The slopes are covered with two layers of geomembranewith internal geotextile sheets. For hydraulic and structural designs, the software HY-8 7.0, H Canales, Excel and Ram Advanse are used. The sewer design includes the heads, approach channel and an energy sink. In this document, the total amounts of project materials are also included.
