    Uso de entornos virtuales de aprendizaje en el subnivel Preparatoria de instituciones públicas y privadas durante la pandemia por COVID-19

    The present topic of study aims to analyze how teachers of the first official level of education use virtual learning environments in public and private schools in order to understand the different realities. This research will answer the following question: How do teachers make use of virtual learning environments for young children in public and private educational institutions during the COVID-19 pandemic? The research has a transversal and descriptiveexploratory methodology centered on the qualitative approach. The selected population consisted of eight teachers in charge of the First Year of General Basic Education in the city of CuencaEcuador, belonging to public and private educational establishments. Subsequently, a semistructured interview was conducted through the Internet with descriptive, structural, and contrast questions that were used for descriptive and comparative analysis between public and private institutions. The analysis was carried out using ATLAS.ti., software, which made it possible to establish important categories regarding the topic. This research concludes that private and public educational institutions on young children presented relevant differences and similarities about the use of virtual environments during the pandemic
