Item Reinterpretación ilustrada de los arquetipos de los Arcanos Mayores del Tarot mediante la creación de una baraja inédita(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-01-08) Nogales Vargas, Jeremy David; Vega Durán, Bernardo MartínThe innate need of the human being to unravel the mysteries of life was evidenced by his use of oracles; throughout human history, several forms of this type of magical tools have been found, and among them is the tarot, which reached great popularity in history due to its particular language based on archetypes, which according to Carl Gustav Jung, these allude to individual and collective behaviors that even go back to our first ancestors. When interest in the occult and its relationship with cartomancy resurfaced in the 20th century, the creation of new tarot decks increased and they were characterized by their themes, worldviews and ideals, evidenced in their artistic illustrations. Currently, the help provided by tarot in relation to the human psyche, with a view to self-realization, draws attention. The language and symbology of the countless contemporary decks lead the querent, or viewer, to the particular non-verbal world of the imagination of the artist who created them, but more importantly, to an introspection of their own mental universe.
