Item Diseño de moda femenina de inspiración cultural Jama-Coaque(2019-11-07) Chabla Muñoz, Ruth Cecilia; Moya Méndez, MisaelWomen's fashion design inspired by Jama-Coaque culture" is a study that has as its general purpose to produce attire with haute couture techniques that reconciles the "globalized" female-preferred languages with the Jama-Coaque visual and cultural codes. As such, this thesis is intended to be a contribution to the strengthening of the Ecuadorian cultural identity. The methodology used in this project is research-creation, which has two components: investigative and creative-productive. The investigative component occurred in two stages: the first consisted in the collection of preliminary data. The second was an interpretative morphological analysis from two levels: first, from the tangible that is represented in the art, and second, from the intangible which is the collective memory of the people and the guidelines for iconographic analysis which is based on the levels of analysis of Erwin Panofsky. In the theoretical framework, it was pertinent to talk about the trends that marked different eras and the history of haute couture. It should be noted that haute couture dictates trends and, with that, the dynamism in fashion that is reflected beyond the fashion shows, at events such as the Met Gala or the Oscars.
