Item Actualización del catastro turístico del cantón Santa Isabel, provincia del Azuay(2018) Jácome Aucay, Diana Patricia; Morales Calle, Jorge Israel; Estrella Durán, Mateo JuliánThis project entitled "Updating Tourism business Cadaster in Santa Isabel canton, Azuay province" has been developed with the purpose of contributing to the organization of the territory, besides the planning and decision making regarding the tourism industry. The tourism infrastructure in Santa Isabel is the combination of the various services necessary for the comfort of tourists, and therefore, they represent a fundamental element for the visitor's experience, an adequate control and management of the information will allow the progress and development of tourism industry in this area. The focus of the current intervention project, that is, the cadaster itself, and all the collected data, has been established according to the technical requirements established by various institutions, among others: The Ministry of Tourism and the municipality of Santa Isabel. The elaboration of the cadaster has been the result of bibliographic review, field visits and interviews that have permitted the accurate data collection and its subsequent processing. As a result of the research, the canton has 86 business in operation, 20 are lodging, 65 are food and beverage establishments, and finally, one is a travel agency. All the data obtained was compared with the information provided by the Municipality of Santa Isabel and the data provided by the Ministry of Tourism, both online and in direct interview with their staff. From the analysis and comparison of these sources we inferred the shortcomings and successes of these entities in the management of the tourist cadaster.Item Análisis posicional del perfil de agentes de viaje frente a agencias de turismo en línea. Due to the increasing development of the activity, the professionalism of intermediaries in this process is very important, such intermediaries are called travel agents or advisers. The travel agent activity requires a wealth of knowledge to be implemented with care and detail as travel experience is most important when selling a touristic product. This paper aims to highlight the importance of the job, to help future travel agents and also update the skills of existing ones. It is crucial since traditional tourism business it is being rapidly replaced by travel agencies offering their services online with strong advertising and unmatchable prices. To develop this topic the travel agency Turisa Cuenca it is going to be analized from the beginning of the Internet revolution in 1990 to 2014 with special emphasis on human talent and how it has contributed through time.Item Propuesta de un plan de negocio para la creación de una operadora turística online en el Azuay(2016) Riera Cajamarca, Jimena Estefanía; Pesántez Loyola, Sandra ElizabethTourism in Ecuador has increased in high percentages in the last few years. Recently, the touristic campaign “All you need is Ecuador” has been a hit for the foreign countries, that let more people to know more about this amazing country. That is the reason why many entrepreneurs have bet for this industry, and they had invested in this economic area. Nowadays, technology is a powerful tool for the new generations, which can connect people all over the globe. Also, people are using this powerful instrument to make business, because tons and tons of individuals can get in touch with the people they want based on their preferences, it means that one person can connect to others to only talk about their experiences about travelling and leisure and also can share multimedia documents of a certain destiny or to make reservations online as well. Therefore, the present monography is a document focused on the planning of a local online travel agency in Azuay, with no products but only the azuayos ones. This contains all the market information for its creation, such as: market analysis, operative plan, legal procedures and financial structure. In fact, these steps are very important to create an exclusive travel agency which works only through the web, with an interactive option to see the touristic multi-productive and beautiful Azuay province as it has never seen before.
