    Radio La Voz de Ingapirca: un análisis sobre la experiencia de participación comunitaria en su labor periodística comunicativa

    Radio “La Voz de Ingapirca”: an analysis of the experience involving the community in its expressive journalistic work is aimed to demonstrate the operation and impact of the Radio “La Voz de Ingapirca" on the community of Cañar. This analysis is based on the technical criteria for journalistic and community participation as well as the fulfillment of the legal aspects related to the Communication Act passed in 2013. Our work is presented in an interpretive paradigm model that tries to understand the meanings provided in the processes of collective construction to influence the public media, and express the points of view of the social players and the collective senses assigned to such social interaction. This work presents the conceptual basis of the social responsibility of journalism and analyzes the main axes of work to improve the information practices: educational content; information with rights approach; new agendas; training of critical audiences; visibility and social participation, among other ways to influence the media field. We will not only focus on this point but also analyze the assignment of frequencies in the context of the Communication Law in Ecuador but reflects on the complex relationships between communication, culture, and politics in contemporary society. A review of some informative practices that use La Voz de Ingapirca against the symbolic violence, such as racial and ethnic discrimination, conflict with the social responsibility is also presented.
