Item Guía de prácticas de laboratorio mediante simuladores virtuales para la enseñanza de la cinemática lineal para primero de bachillerato(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-09-06) Yanza Toledo, Kevin David; Zhunio Zuin, Jean Carlos; Guachún Lucero, Freddy PatricioCurrently, our society has experienced an important change in the teaching-learning process as a way to improve its practices. Consequently, we can observe the constant integration of different teaching resources that are not focused on traditional methods, but on the contrary, they acquire an essence of innovation and modernity. The present research work has the purpose of expressing this change through a technological process where the use of simulators and virtual experimental activities are integrated into teachers’ laboratory practice guidelines, improving this way the teaching of linear kinematics. The literature review has shown the importance of teaching in a way that moves from traditional methods to different ways of achieving meaningful learning, so that students are able to create their own knowledge through experimentation, especially if it has to do with scientific branches of study where the principal purpose is to rediscover the reason of things. It is the main aim for the development of a teaching tool which is aligned with a constructivist approach and based on the application of virtual simulators, where the students become the center of learning. The relevance of this proposal is supported by a survey carried out at “Unidad Educativa Herlinda Toral”, where students consider that they would learn in a better way if they used virtual simulators in their laboratory practices. Therefore, it is concluded that the innovative way of teaching through virtual laboratory practices is an efficient alternative to be implemented in educational fields.
