In the same way, the observation and analysis of the data obtained, we identify some of the key factors that allow this transformation. Consequently, the main myths and legends that remain housed in the collective memory have been recorded, told through their protagonists: grandparents, parents, neighbors who are in charge of transmitting these stories to new generations. For these reasons, they are currently recognized as intangible cultural heritage of the peoples and their wealth. This study has been carried out based on an ethnographic methodology, where tools such as observation and interviews were used, which have allowed me to analyze these factors, and determine if these memories have the same meaning today. Also, the importance of the spaces where these narratives take place was taken into account. Due to this, its inhabitants have recognized the importance of conserving and continuing with these ancestral practices, for the permanence of collective memory through orality, as a key element for the configuration of identity. In the same way, being clear that the memory of a people is not static, it is changing, when adding or subtracting elements of a given space and time, results in an intergenerational transformation, with different meanings and values, in this case to various myths and legends
