    Elaboración de un manual para no profesionales en procesos constructivos de edificaciones

    This degree work focuses on the need to train non-professional workers in the area of construction, due to the importance of this sector in the economy of Ecuador and the shortage of skilled labor. The historical evolution of construction systems, materials and labor in this field is analyzed. It highlights the transition from masonry structures to reinforced concrete and steel structures, as well as the incorporation of conditioning systems. The document analyzes basic concepts on construction systems and processes, labor, productivity and quality in this field, representing a valuable comprehensive training guide that will promote the improvement of skills, knowledge and performance of those in the construction area. The manual seeks to standardize construction practices, disseminate updated technical knowledge among all levels of labor, encourage the adoption of the best available techniques, and boost productivity through efficient procedures and quality control. Its preparation is part of a University outreach project focused on construction workers.
