The changes that have appeared in the education of our country have been of big relevancy, changes that have reverberated have in an important way on the different components and departments that were working in the educational institutions, being one of them the Departments of Orientation and Student Well-being(Comfort) (DOBES) replaced by the Departments of Student Commission (DECES). With the intention of realizing a descriptive analysis of the work fulfilled across(through) these departments there appears the achievement of the present so called research project “Intervention Projects realized by the DOBES of the province of the Azuay”. The study corresponds(fits) to a descriptive investigation of type of character observational for the purpose of exhibiting aspects related to the projects of intervention carried out, in the Educational Institutions, on the part of the DOBES in the province of the Azuay even before 2011 and for the DECES after 2011 (until the school year 2012-2013). One refers also to the reached realized results, to the processes of monitoring and evaluation. The data obtained allow you to determine that the majority of counselors surveyed, consider making a diagnosis prior to the development of the projects, while only 41.5 % are a monitoring of the project and the 60% indicate that the results of the projects were good, which shows an acceptable job on the part of the departments.
