(2017) Avilés Valverde, Yanel Alexandra; Yunga Yunga, Karina Guadalupe; Santillán Iñiguez, Juan José
This graduation project develops a bibliographical research about the link between the Flipped Classroom Method and the development of reading skills for teaching English as a foreign language. This study examines how the Flipped Classroom Method can help in the development of reading skills through the analysis of teachers´ surveys conducted at the Catholic University of Cuenca-Azogues branch. The findings show the problems that teachers and students have to face in the process of teaching learning/reading comprehension. In addition, this study made an analysis of the syllabus of lower intermediate course from the Catholic University of Cuenca Azogues branch. This analysis helped establish the readings, grammar, vocabulary and activities for the lesson plans. Finally, the twelve lesson plans could be a guideline to help teachers make their classes more active and meaningful.
